Stratford v. Cy Fair (2-16-22) 40-36 W

Having already wrapped up the district championship, the Spartans knew they would get a fight from Cy-Fair at the last game of the season. In a brutal first half, the Spartans were outscored 26-8.  Coach Ache flipped the switch with his half-time speech and the boys applied their lock-down defense, holding Cy-Fair to only 2 points in the 3rd quarter and 8 points in the 4th quarter. The Spartans came back to win 40-36, remaining undefeated.

Hard fought, spirited battle with our district rivals…. Spartans led 32-16 at the half, holding on to win 53-50.

Stratford v. Cy Creek (2-5-22) 69-54 W

Spartans began strong with a 5-0 lead, yet Cy Creek led 18-10 at the end of the first quarter. Spartans led 33-30 at the half. Consistent offense and tough defense in the second half ensured the win at 69-54.  Sophomore Spartans remain undefeated in district play.
