It was a banner day on March 15th for junior Davis Kendall, who dropped big PR’s in both the 100m and 200m races for the second week in a row. Junior Kenny White placed second in shot put with his best throw yet. Senior Trinity Rosas vaulted to a new PR, placing second. The Spartans have one more regular season meet left before heading into the postseason.

Over spring break, senior Kenneth Owen, University of Houston commit, placed second in the high jump at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Meet, where he competed against the top jumpers from around the nation. A run at the Texas State title looks within his reach this season. Let’s go, KMO!
