Varsity at the Pearland Varsity Tournament

Varsity Tennis had a great day playing against solid competition at the Pearland Varsity Tournament on Friday. A huge shoutout goes to the following players:

  • Caroline Heinecke - 2nd place - Girls B Singles - Caroline came back from a 2-6 deficit to win that set 9-7. She went on to win her Semifinals match in 3 sets. Way to stay strong, Caroline! When you fight for every point, you get great results.
  • Brianna Johnson - 3rd place - Girls A Singles
  • Carter Chao/Christian Nafziger - Consolation Winners - Boys B Doubles - Carter and Christian also showed perseverance as they were down in one set and fought hard to win a very tight tie-breaker 7-5. Way to go, boys!
