The Varsity B Team played this past Monday, November 18th at Lake Windcrest Golf Course. The team faced off against many top teams to the north including The Woodlands and Willis High Schools. The day began with a quick rain shower that caused a little discomfort with wet clothes and equipment. The team started slow but gained momentum as the round continued. Braden Vanderschoor led the field with a 2-under performance to win the tournament individually. Thomas Thielemann also led the field with a 1-under performance to take the 2nd place finish. Both players helped the team shoot a score of 291 to take home the 1st place award. The team consisted of Luke Pine (74), Noah Bahrami (76), and Wes Hall (79). Congratulations to the team for a great win!

The Varsity Team will be in action this weekend in the Lufkin Invitational. The team will consist of Caleb Lumpkin, Andrew Molina, Tyler Davis, Barton Smith, and Grady Ash. We will be playing The Woodland Hills and Lumberjack National Golf Courses in the Lufkin, TX area.
