VARSITY

The Varsity B Boys Team played on Monday, November 11 at Moody Gardens Golf Course. The team played a wet and windy course with very soft greens. The course wasn’t in the best shape, but the team persevered and finished 5th overall. Grady Ash battled through the conditions and being slightly under the weather to shoot a 79 to lead the team. The team consisted of Wes Hall, Jackson Lisle, Jake Kurtin, and Gordon Richardson.

JUNIOR VARSITY

The Junior Varsity Boys Team also played on Monday, November 11 at Cypresswood Traditions Golf Course. The team played the hard Traditions Course that has a lot of tight fairways and forced carried tee shots. The Traditions Course is also where the Houston Open hosts its PGA qualifiers. On Monday, the team faced off against many Houston-area teams, including Memorial HS. The weather was perfect for scoring, with the soft greens and calm winds. Stratford finished 4th overall, with Christian Arndt finishing 3rd individually, shooting a 75. The JV Team consisted of Liam Maglalang, Jack Jones, Ty Lawrence, and Harry Richardson.
