In a challenging matchup against new District rival Cy Falls, the Stratford Spartans faced off on Senior Night, knowing they would need to contend with the Eagles' size and speed.

Stratford struck first after a solid kick return from Anderson Dinh, setting up Aaron DeLeon, who scrambled 59 yards to the Eagles' 1-yard line. The Spartans settled for a 20-yard field goal by Ricky Estrada, taking an early 3-0 lead. However, a short punt on their next possession allowed Cy Falls to capitalize with a touchdown from 12 yards out, putting the Eagles ahead 7-3.

Cy Falls focused on the ground game, scoring twice more in the first half to extend their lead to 21-3 just before halftime. Stratford responded with a quick drive, ending with a 27-yard field goal by Estrada, bringing the score to 21-6.

In the second half, Cy Falls threatened to score, but Parker Johnson intercepted a pass, marking his eighth interception of the season, leading Texas 6A. After a Stratford turnover on downs deep in Eagles territory, Cy Falls extended their lead with a 37-yard touchdown pass, making it 28-6.

The fourth quarter saw both teams find the end zone, with Cy Falls scoring on a 38-yard run and Stratford responding with a 4-yard touchdown pass from DeLeon to Dinh. With the score at 35-12, Stratford's Andrew Lumpkin executed a perfect onside kick, recovered by Johnathan Joseph, Jr., giving the Spartans another opportunity. Unfortunately, they were unable to capitalize, and the game concluded with a 35-12 defeat for Stratford.

With this loss, Stratford drops to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in District play.
