The JV Team played at Pecan Grove Country Club on Monday, October 21st against 23 high school teams. The conditions of the course were rough, but the team managed to finish on top of the field at the end of the day. Jackson Lisle finished 1st, shooting an even par 72, and Luca D'Amico finished 2nd, shooting three over par 75, to help the Spartans win the tournament. Congratulations to the team for winning the Pecan Grove Country Club invitational!

The JV Teams were back in action later in the week on Wednesday, October 23rd at Jersey Meadow Golf Course for the Stratford Invitational. The event hosted 140 players on 28 teams from around the Houston area. Stratford had two teams consisting of freshmen and sophomore players that represented the school well. Team A players were Christian Arndt, Liam Laglalang, Jack Jones, Harry Richardson, and Jack Clancy. Team A finished 8th overall, with Christian Arndt leading the team with a score of 76 to place 11th overall.

Team B players were Tommy Maggio, Charlie Dina, Ryder Jones, Paulo Laudadio, and Ty Lawrence. Team B finished 13th overall, with consistent play from all the players.

Both teams have room for improvement overall, but they did well at their first team tournament of the season. The next JV tournament will be Monday, October 28th at Panorama Golf Course and Thursday, October 31st at Moody Gardens Golf Course.

The Varsity Team will open the season at Conroe Country Club on November 1st and 2nd.
