Stratford Varsity and JV Softball kicked off their Fall Ball season with games last Monday. Varsity had a strong showing against Incarnate Word, winning 15-0. Returning pitchers Gwyn Katterhenry (5Ks) and Aashna Kapoor (2Ks) led the Spartans in the shutout, throwing two innings each. Senior Allison Hibbetts, Junior Sophie Donnell, and Sophomore Alessia Avalos led the offense, each going 2 for 2.

JV came to play in their first outing against Memorial, walking away with a WIN...the JV Team ended last season with an impressive record of 13-2-1 and is looking to build on that this year.
