The tie-break set started off with strong play from Howard, who had multiple kills and led the Spartans to a 6-3 lead. A kill from Hatcher brought the score to 14-10. However, the Wildcats were not going to just give the game away, battling back to bring the score to 14-13. A serve out from the Wildcats gave the Spartans the win in what was the most exciting game of the season to date.
