This week, Stratford Cross Country athletes took the brief bus ride over to Bear Creek Park to compete in the Strake Jesuit Invitational Meet. Despite muddy conditions, the runners enjoyed slightly cooler temperatures. It was an exciting day of competition with Spartans earning medals in nearly every division. The top 25 Varsity runners and the top 20 non-Varsity runners received medals. For full meet results, click HERE.

Senior Andrew Hopkins continues to drop time each week, earning a top-10 finish. Feeling under the weather, sophomore Owen Duggan ran a gutsy race to help keep the Spartans just ahead of rival Memorial in the team standings.
