On May 8th and 9th, Stratford Varsity Tennis went to Regionals.

Congrats to Anna Sanchez and Renee Lee on coming in 2nd place and going to STATE! The 2nd day they had to beat Memorial and the #3 seed from Clements (in the playback) to secure their spot. It has been nine long years since Stratford has sent a tennis player to State, so this is quite an accomplishment!

Congrats to Liam on a great Regionals run. He lost in the semi’s to the eventual winner of Boy Singles from Seven Lakes. He lost a hard-fought match to Clear Springs (3 sets) and finished 4th. What an AMAZING season this freshman had this year!

Please congratulate seniors Anna and Renee as they head to San Antonio on Thursday and Friday to compete at the highest level in high school tennis in Texas!
