Stratford Sophomore Spartans vs. Memorial Mustangs, April 17th

GAME 1

This past week, the Sophomore Spartans faced off against District rivals, the Memorial Mustangs. In the first game, the Mustangs jumped on the Spartans early, putting up 8 runs in the first inning and another 6 in the third. This proved to be too much to overcome, as Stratford only managed 3 hits over 4 innings and lost the showdown 3-14.

GAME 2

In the second game, the Spartans jumped on the board early, scoring 3 in the first inning. However, the Mustangs were quick to retaliate, scoring 4 in the bottom of the first and 3 more in the second, ultimately defeating the Spartans 7-3.

The Sophomore Spartans will wrap up the season this Thursday, taking on Jersey Village at 5 pm and 7 pm in the Stratford Backyard. Please come out and cheer on the team!
