The Spartans took home a win against Seven Lakes on Saturday. They gear up for two big District games this week against Cy Ridge and Memorial.

vs. Seven Lakes – Win (7-3)

The Stratford Varsity Spartans shook off the Spring Break dust on Saturday and earned a win against Seven Lakes. They got on the board in the second inning after one run scored by Allison Hibbetts on a Seven Lakes error. They added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Layla Yslas singled and Jessica Youngblood walked, scoring one run. Youngblood led Stratford with two RBIs and went 1-3 on the day. Ava Esparza, Alessia Avalos, Yslas, and Elizabeth McGuire each collected one hit for the Spartans. Hibbetts drew 3 walks on the day. Defensively, Gwyn Katterhenry and Aashna Kapoor combined to limit Seven Lakes to 3 runs.
