The only thing that has slowed down the Stratford Sophomore Boys Team has been the weather.

The team had to wait for Friday and Cypress Creek to see action this week after Tuesday’s cancellation. The boys put a slow first quarter behind them and jumped on Cy Creek in the 2nd quarter, outscoring them 18-3 behind torrid 3-point shooting from Jay Frazier, who hit three of them in the quarter. The Spartans extended the lead to 22 to end the third period after a timely 3-pointer from Beckett Swilling and 4 points each from Ben Harris and Anderson Fitzgerald. Stratford was outscored by 3 in the 4th quarter but was never challenged, and the outcome was not in doubt after the 4 minute mark of the 2nd quarter.

Jay Frazier paced the Spartans with 15 points, while Ben Harris and Anderson Fitzgerald scored 10 apiece to move the Spartans to 13-2 on the season and stretch the Spartans' winning streak to seven.
