The Stratford Freshman B Boys Basketball Team has extended their winning streak to 8 games by picking up two wins last week vs. Memorial and Jersey Village.

vs. Memorial

Freshman B beat Memorial on Tuesday 55–49 in an exciting back-and-forth affair. Scoring was led by Jackson Berg and Ryder Jones with 12 points each, followed by Kamari Williams and Hayden Thomas, each with 9.

vs. Jersey Village

On Friday night, Freshman B defeated Jersey Village 36–31 in overtime in an intense defensive battle. Leading scorers were Raeyon Harris and Jackson Berg with 8 points apiece, followed by George Baxevanis and Kamari Williams, both with 6. Ryder Jones hit clutch free throws in OT to help seal the win.

vs. Cy Creek

The Boys 9B Basketball Team had their 8-game winning streak halted on Friday night, losing 60–57 to Cy Creek in an exciting double overtime affair. After trailing the entire game, Cy Creek was able to take the lead late in the 4th quarter. The 9B Boys were able to tie the game up, however, and send it to overtime. In the second overtime period, Cy Creek was able to pull ahead by applying full-court pressure and running fast breaks. Scoring leaders for the 9B Team were Ryder Jones with 14 points and Jackson Berg with 13. Dylan Johnson also scored 6 points and garnered several offensive and defensive rebounds.
