The High School Fall Season is complete, but many Spartans are still working hard on their game with match play in USTA/UTR Tennis Tournaments. This weekend the following Spartans played in tournaments around the Houston area.

Congrats Brianna Johnson for winning 1st in her draw at the Level 6: Lost Forest Tournament.

Playing the Level 5: Bay Area Racquet Club, congrats to Lupe Rodriguez for winning the SW draw and Maca Rodriguez for winning the NW draw. Not only did they play singles, they paired up to play doubles losing a tough 1st round match.

We had two players playing the UTR Katy Tennis Club Tournament. Elliot Hamlin made the finals of her draw. Also playing, Benjamin Guo, who had a great tournament.

We are getting ready for the 2nd half of the tennis season, Spring Tournaments, but will take a short hiatus this weekend as we are bringing back the Family Doubles Tournament. This fiercely competitive/social tournament is sure to bring some tough matches and some bragging rights.
