On Wednesday afternoon, the Spartans (4-3, 2-0) hosted the traditional powerhouse North Shore Mustangs. The visiting team used a combination of zone read and a strong defense to upend the Spartans 34-0.

• Another great punt by Griffith (#19) pinned North Shore inside their own 20-yard line.
