The Stratford Girls Golf Team is looking to be the best on the green. Despite the tough Texas heat, the team has been preparing and practicing diligently to ensure their success.
With many returning players including 2 of the top girls from the District last year, the Spartans are sure to shine! Coach Johnson has also added several new faces to the team, looking to make this season one of the best for SHS Girls Golf!
The Senior returning players are Addison Muehr, Ella Pezzia, Jackie Reister, Sarah Swartz, Carly Stanton, and Mae Trahan. The 2 Junior players are Madeleine Chadwick and Campbell Crawford. The 4 Sophomore players are Kenzie Bates, Ryann Calvert, Lucy Laudadio, and Brinklee Michels. Rounding out the team are Freshmen Vanessa Cruz, Camilla Jamieson, and Claire Kadane. This makes the Girls Golf Team a total of 15 this fall.
The golf program has also added Assistant Golf Coach, Kendall Terry.
Kicking off the season this past Tuesday was a golf team dinner hosted by the family of Ryann Calvert.
October 4th is the Spartans' 1st tournament of the year at F.M. Law Park. Go Spartans!
