In the JV White's football matchup against Cy Fair, the game was an intense battle from start to finish. Despite a touchdown by Cy Fair with only 3 minutes left in the first quarter, the extra point was denied. With the Spartan's quick defense, they ended the quarter with a crucial interception by #14 Jack Sullivan and kept fans on the edge of their seats.

The defense continued to shine with a sack by #91 Colton Muehr, and the team's hustle forced Cy Fair out of field goal range. In the last 8 seconds of the half, another tackle by #90 Mourice Elias sealed an exciting defensive performance. Cy Fair's unsuccessful field goal attempt kept the score at 0-6.

Stratford started the second half with the ball, and soon after #28 Dylan Faulkner fought hard to gain a first down plouwing up the middle of the field. However, Cy Fair soon made an interception, and prevented the offense from keeping that momentum going. Some additional highlights of the 3rd quarter included Wyatt Koy's crucial tackle, denying Cy Fair's next field goal attempt and #15 Eric Velazquez almost pulling off an interception on a tapped ball, adding to the game's excitement.

Defense continued to show their determination with an impressive series of forced fumbles in one play. Cy Fair regrettably recovered the ball at the Spartans' 30 yard line, but not before losing a whopping 65 yards. Despite some promising moments, including a picture-perfect pass by QB Gavin Guzman to #5 AJ West, the play was regrettably just short of a first down.

In the game's final minutes Cy Fair's punt was stopped at about the Spartan 10 yard line. After some tense moments in the red zone, the offense was set to capitalize, but was unable to convert their field position into points. Cy Fair regrettably regained possession and ran down the clock.

It was a hard-fought contest with plenty of exciting moments. Despite the final score reading 0-6, the scoreboard didn't do justice to the sheer determination and action-packed moments that defined the game.
