This past Wednesday, the JV White Team played a second game in Tomball for a rematch of their first game, which was stopped due to weather. JV White arrived in Tomball to pick up where they left off. Each team fought hard in the first quarter, ending with a score of 0-0. Our boys continued to give it their all in the second quarter, but Tomball scored a touchdown, but no extra points were scored. Tomball managed to score another touchdown with just 13 seconds left in the second quarter, but again they couldn't secure extra points.

The Spartans began the second half with possession, but were unable to reach the end zone with a strong defense on both sides, creating some tense situations. A crucial moment came when #90 Mourice Elias made a key reception for a much-needed first down. This was the set-up QB Gavin Guzman needed to showcase his skills with an impressive 35-yard run for a touchdown. However, the team was denied the extra points. Special teams also had standout moments, like #81 Joseph Berry's punt return. Although there were some missed flags that left fans feeling distressed, the Spartans remained resilient and fought harder.

With only minutes to go, #27 Aiden Wheeler tapped the ball on a 4th down to regain possession near the 50 yard line. Unfortunately, with just 1:08 left in the game, Tomball intercepted the ball and took a knee running down the clock in the final seconds. The score ended in disappointment with Stratford 6 points, Tomball 12.
