JV White Football Defeats Dulles 22-12

The JV White football team delivered yet another thrilling victory, this time against Dulles High School on a memorable Wednesday clash in Sugar Land.

The game kicked off with a scoreless first quarter, setting the stage for an explosive second quarter. It was Dulles who struck first, securing a 6-0 lead. However, the tide turned dramatically with a game-changing play by #83 Lucas Gualy, who recovered a pivotal fumble. This turnover paved the way for a heart-stopping 40-yard touchdown pass to #16 Jaelaun Rosser, followed by a 2-point conversion expertly executed by QB Gavin Guzman. With seconds left in the half, the Spartans secured their lead, with the scoreboard reading 8-6 in their favor.

The second half was equally action-packed, giving fans quite a show from the well-attended stands. Aiden Wheeler #27 showcased his defensive prowess once again with another fumble recovery. In the third quarter, #28 Dylan Faulkner dazzled the field with a phenomenal touchdown run, perfectly complemented by #80 Rafe Williams' 2-point conversion, extending the Spartans' lead to 16-6.

Dulles managed to put up a fight, adding another touchdown to bring the score to 16-12. However, a game-changing moment unfolded when #20 Will Tacker executed a skillful kickoff return and positioned the team at the 46-yard line. With remarkable finesse, QB Gavin Guzman#16 Jaelaun Rosser, and #28 Dylan Faulkner, orchestrated incredible offensive teamwork, securing 7 more points.

The team's tenacious defense - including a sack by #68 Grant Dickey - held off Dulles in the final minutes, sealing the deal and clinching another victory for the JV White team. Coaches, parents, and fans can take immense pride in this outstanding performance on the gridiron. The final score, 22-12 in favor of Stratford.
