The Spartans had a very successful UIL Region III Tournament on April 19th and 20th at Eagle Pointe Golf Course. Stratford finished in 2nd place and advances to the Class 6A State Tournament as just one of 12 teams. In very windy conditions, all five boys shot both rounds in the 70s - the only school to accomplish that feat.

Chris Blaine qualified for the event as an individual and also had a strong showing.

The State Tournament will be played at Legacy Hills Golf Club in Georgetown (north of Austin) on May 22nd and 23rd. Best of luck to our Spartan golfers!
