Last week marked the end of our spring tennis season. We had some terrific results at the Varsity Regional Tournament and the Freshman and JV District Tournaments.

Here are the results:

Varsity Regionals:

Erin Bui lost a close match 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 to a girl from Katy Jordan who would go on to place 3rd in the region.

Anna Thielemann/Anna Sanchez placed 4th in the region! They lost competitive matches to the 2nd and 3rd place teams in the region.

JV District Tournament:

Girls Team: Runner-Up

Boys Team: Runner-Up

Girls Singles: Tessa Malloy placed 3rd and Elizabeth Perkins placed 4th.

Girls Doubles: Ruthie Egger/June Lim placed 2nd and Hailey Shifano/Paloma Nitcholas placed 4th.

Boys Singles: Harrison Brooks was a quarterfinalist.

Boys Doubles: Hayden Arzymanow/Luke Wright placed 3rd; Henry Dudley/Porter Lippold were quarterfinalists.

Mixed Doubles: Tyler Willard/Katherine Perkins placed 3rd and Aden Le/Angelina Droca placed 4th.

Freshman District Tournament:

Girls Team: Runner-Up

Boys Team: Runner-Up

Girls Singles: Sakino Kitaoka placed 4th.

Girls Doubles: Martie Montalbo/Caroline Heinecke placed 3rd; Kenna Wong/Rory Stepler were quarterfinalists.

Boys Singles: Kyle Chen placed 2nd; Gabe Elizondo was a quarterfinalist.

Boys Doubles: Christian Nafziger/Will Coates placed 3rd; Matthew Le/Sahn Yi were quarterfinalists.

Mixed Doubles: Landon Selzer/Elliot Hamlin placed 3rd; Beckett Willard/Abi Clark placed 4th.
