The Varsity Men’s Golf team played in the Regional Preview Tournament at Eagle Pointe Golf Club on March 24th and 25th. The Spartans finished in 2nd place behind Memorial, but bested Region III rivals Kingwood and Cy Creek. Andrew Ferworn won the individual tournament by two shots, shooting 69, 67 (6 under par). Chris Blaine (74, 72), Caleb Lumpkin (77, 77), Ben Potter (76, 79) and Tyler Davis (80, 76) also played well for Coach Mathe’s Spartans.

Next up for the Spartans are the District playoffs March 29th and 30th at Cypress Lakes Golf Course.
