vs. SWHS on 3/1

The Stratford JV girls played Spring Woods High School on Wednesday, March 1 at Tully Stadium. SHS Midfielder Cassidy Syamken did a good job connecting the defense and the attack by passing the ball accurately and trying to keep the game as fluid as possible. With 26 minutes on the clock, Cassidy Syamken connected with Nicole Abbey to score: SHS 1 - SWHS 0. A corner kick by Nicole Abbey was trapped by Avery Rushing, who shot at goal for 2-0 on the scoreboard. At 7:30 on the clock, Meagan Hallmark passed to Chassity Mandley, who scored our 3rd goal. Stratford led Spring Woods 3 - 0 at the half.

Stratford’s last goal was made by Nicole Abbey for a final score of SHS 7 - SWHS 0.

Quick to the ball, Avery Rushing made an excellent cross to Maddie Verrett to score again: SHS 2-CRHS 0. Third time's a charm when Avery Rushing passed to Maddie Verrett with a perfect arch over the CyRidge goalie’s head and into the goal for 3 - 0 on the scoreboard.
