Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course in Concan, TX

The top 5 Varsity Team played at Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course in Concan, TX February 24 and 25. This travel tournament had teams from San Antonio, Austin, and the Houston area. The team consisted of Andrew Ferworn, Chris Blaine, Caleb Lumpkin, Tyler Davis, Andrew Molina, and medalist Ben Potter. The team really enjoyed the golf course, shooting a sub par 283 or 5 under-par the first day. This score is the lowest team score since Coach Mathe has been at Stratford. On the second day, the team came back to the field shooting a 309 but still finished 1st place overall with a 592 total score. Ben Potter played as a medalist in the tournament. On the first day, Ben played well, shooting a 2 under-par 70. On the second day, his putter failed him causing him to struggle, but he still was able to shoot a 78. I am proud of Ben and the team accomplishment at Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course.
