The Sophomore Boys Basketball Team finished their season 19-1 and 13-0 in the district. The boys played an unselfish and hard-working style of play that allowed for them to impose their will on opponents throughout the season.

Their final game was a win over Cy Creek 55-51 in a game they started down 17-11 in the first and 32-29 at the half. Cy Creek used hot shooting early to get ahead, but the Spartans kept attacking and charging using a 17-5 run in the third quarter to take a 9-point lead. The Spartans assisted on 15/24 field goals led by Kolt Kurek (4 assists) and Luke Pine (3 assists). Ethan White (9 rebounds and 5 deflections) and Andrew Marks (6 rebounds and 8 deflections) played physically, and four players scored in double digits.

These guys have grown over the last decade as athletes and it has been a pleasure as parents to watch and support them as they find their way and continue to work together to achieve at such a high level.
