The 2023 Track and Field season officially got underway this week with our sub-Varsity at a dual meet with Katy Taylor at Taylor High School on Thursday and our Varsity at the annual Will Taylor Relays at Memorial High School all day Saturday. Conditions on Thursday were cold and windy, but much improved on Saturday under sunny skies and cool, comfortable temperatures.

VARSITY

The Stratford girls and boys each finished third-place out of 12 in the team competition, and many individual medals were awarded to Spartan athletes. The girls scored 146 points and finished behind Cinco Ranch with 152 and meet champion Katy Taylor with 154. The Spartan boys scored 103 points, only behind Memorial with 133 and meet champion Cinco Ranch with 196.
