Stratford Varsity Boys Basketball Team came out with a white-hot defensive first 5 minutes that translated into an 18-4 lead. The game was never in doubt from that point on; however, Memorial fought back and made a good run. In the end, Stratford had an answer each time.

Great defense and rebounding led to a convincing 21-point victory against our rival and righted the ship from the previous loss to the Mustangs. Next up, Tuesday's game against Jersey Village. Come out to cheer on the Spartans!

In other news, it's official! Keanu Dawes made his future at Rice University official. Travis Dunwoody also made his collegiate intentions known, signing with Southwestern College. Way to go, boys!
