The Sophomore Spartans continued their dominance this past week racking up two more impressive wins, bringing their record to a stout 15-1 (district 7-0) on the season.

vs. Cy-Fair

On Wednesday, they jumped all over a tough Cy-Fair team and led wire-to-wire on their way to a 58-39 win. The Spartans were led by Andrew Marks (10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 9 deflections!!), Cameron Cocheu (12 points, 6 rebounds), Caden Bush (9 points, 8 rebounds), and Ethan White (2 points, 7 rebounds, 6 deflections).

vs. Cy-Creek

On Saturday, a very short-handed Spartans team with only 8 players still came out firing on all cylinders and ran away from the Cougars of Cy-Creek with a commanding 60-39 victory. Vlad Vatrachki led the Spartans inside, posting a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while also adding 4 assists. Everyone on the team got into the scoring action again with Kolton Kurek racking up 14 points, and Luke Pine, Joe Selesky, and Cole Messer each chipping in 8 points. Ethan White also played big grabbing 6 rebounds, scoring 4 points, and notching a couple of assists.
