Boys Varsity Basketball Goes 1-2 at VYPE Holiday Invitational

The Varsity Boys Basketball Team played in the VYPE Holiday Invitational on Thursday and Friday, December 29 & 30. The team won one game and lost in two very exciting games, one against Booker T. Washington, which went into overtime where Stratford lost by 3 pts. Some highlights from the Tournament include Triston Williams with 18 points in game 1 against Nimitz High School.

vs. Booker T. Washington

In game two against Booker T. Washington, Keanu Dawes scored 23 points, including 7 pts in overtime. Cameron Cronin scored 16 points, and Tristan Williams with 14. Paul Skoutelakis put 11 points on the board as well. The team ended regular play 74-74, and lost by 3 points in OT.

vs. Katy Paetow

In game three, Stratford's defense stifled Katy Paetow's offense in the second day of the VYPE Invitational. It was a well-rounded effort by the whole team. Stratford was led by Keanu Dawes, who had 16 points, Wes Wohlfahrt with 14 points, Tristan and Cameron each had 13 points, and Payton Sarratt contributed with six points on the board.
