On Friday evening, December 9th, the Stratford divers both finished in 3rd place against Memorial: Isabelle Burkhart had 105.08 points on the girls side and Korbin Irvine had 155.55 points on the boys side.

On Saturday morning, December 10th, the Stratford swimmers had their turn against Memorial. The girls won and the boys fell a little short, but you can bet that everyone will be ready and tapered when we meet Memorial again at District in mid-January. Before that, though, Stratford will attend the prelims/finals Polar Plunge Meet on January 6th and 7th.

 

We had several 1st PLACE FINISHES:

Allison Ortiz: 1st 50 free (25.30) and 1st 100 free (55.54)

Lindsay Wong: 1st 200 IM (2:20.48) and 1st 500 free (5:35.83)

Emma Jackson: 1st 100 back (1:05.95)

Nathan Moss: 1st 200 free (1:48.17) and 1st 500 free (4:56.35)

The girls A team won the 200 medley relay (1:54.36) with Jackson (back, 29.74), Wong (breast, 32.42), Ortiz (fly, 26.36), and Sophia Giesecke (free, 25.84).

The girls A team also took 1st place in the 200 free relay (1:44.05) with Ortiz (25.58), Wong (26.10), Giesecke (26.41), and Jackson (25.96) and 1st place in the 400 free relay (3:55.09) with Lily Askounis (59.35), Gwen Beach (58.71), Sarah Beth Roady (59.47), and Molly Kate Minyard (57.56).
