vs. Spring Woods

The Freshmen one-upped their JV counterparts and brought home second place in the tourney. They played Spring Woods on Friday. Sophia French led with 10 points. Rylah Barnes grabbed an impressive 14 rebounds and the Spartans won 24-18.

vs. Magnolia West

On Friday the Freshmen faced Magnolia West. Caroline White poured in 14 points and 7 rebounds. French knocked in 8 points and 6 rebounds. Barnes had a bucket and 9 rebounds and Mag West was dispatched, 29-18.

vs. Memorial

That put the Spartans in the title game on Saturday vs. that team to the east that wears red. It was not the Spartans’ best showing. White led with 7 points and 8 rebounds. French had a score and 8 rebounds. Barnes continued to dominate the glass with 9 rebounds. Nada Solanji had 8 rebounds. The Freshmen have 6 wins and 3 losses.
