The Spartans traveled to C.E. King High School on Saturday for two games while short-handed on players, losing to C.E. King 24-36 and Barbers Hill 17-45.

In the C.E. King game, Sophomore Emerson Berg was a beast, scoring nine points and reeling in 11 rebounds with just one turnover. Sophomore Megan Hallmark scored seven points and brought down five rebounds. Sophomores Katherine Cronin and Gretchen Loveless each scored four points. Baskets were much harder to come by vs. Barbers Hill. Sophomore Sierra George topped the box score with five points and 11 rebounds. Berg and Hallmark each contributed four points.

Friday night's action vs. Cy Woods resulted in a loss for the Spartans. Details were unavailable at the time of publication. The next game will be November 15th vs. Fort Bend Austin at Stratford.
