Varsity started the week undefeated in District, holding a commanding 3-game lead with five left to play. They were looking to mathematically clinch a playoff spot in a pair of games against SBISD opponents.

The Spartans travelled to Northbrook on Tuesday to take on the Raiders. In a thoroughly dominant performance, Stratford prevailed 25-5, 25-1, 25-5. Northbrook found it nearly impossible to score regardless of the lineup combination Coach A threw at them.

On Friday, Stratford hosted Spring Woods. The game started early to accommodate those attending the homecoming football game. The Spartans took care of business quickly with a 25-8, 25-10, 25-5 victory.

During the Spring Woods game, senior outside hitter extraordinaire Skylar George achieved her 1,000th kill, adding yet another milestone to her outstanding high school career. In the upcoming matches, we look forward to seeing Sharlotte McClintock and Emma Hickman EACH eclipse 100 blocks on the season!
