The Freshman Green Team came up short against the Cy-Fair Bobcats 14-0. The game was a defensive struggle, with both teams putting together drives that stalled out due to strong defensive play on both sides. The Spartan offense was led by Davis Kendall on the ground. Will McCarroll had several completions to Jake Weinhardt and Corbin Morris. The Spartans had a good game on special teams highlighted by a blocked extra point by Lucas Thibodeaux, and a ~55-yard punt from Andrew Lumpkin (from the back of his own end zone). The Freshmen Green team plays at Cy-Creek this next week.
