The Freshmen White Team battled to a victory against Cy-Fair. The ground game was led by Larenzo Rochelle – highlighted by a 46-yd run in the 1st half that set up a 16-yd TD run on the next play. Gavin Guzman connected with Jaelaun Rosser on a beautiful “Go” route 46-yd TD in the 2nd quarter to propel the Spartans ahead 16-0 at the half. The defensive line played well also, limiting the Bobcats yardage up the middle. Trent Burke stood on the D-Line, as he had a few tackles for a loss.

Larenzo Rochelle added another long TD run of 32 yards in the 3rd quarter to extend the lead to 22-14. Guzman added another TD in the 4th to extend the lead 28-14. Late in the 4th quarter, it looked like Cy-Fair might make it interesting, but their last drive was shut down by Jack Sullivan’s interception. A good team win for the Freshmen White squad.
