This fall, Girls’ Golf is looking to build off a solid previous year in 2021. They have been preparing and practicing diligently to ensure that they have a successful season.

Head Coach Timothy Johnson said that he is expecting great things. We have a total of 15 girls this fall. 3 of the top girls from district last year are returning and we’ve added 5 new faces to the team. Charlotte Genez, Abby Murphy, Ashley Mahood, Jessica Jones, and Antonia Conkright are the seniors. There are also 5 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 3 freshmen. The girls kicked off the season with a golf team dinner hosted by the family of Ryann Calvert on Tuesday.

The season opens with the 1st tournament of the year at Pasadena Municipal golf course on 9/27. The Spartans will be represented by Jessica Jones, Ashley Mahood, Addison Muehr, Jackie Reister, and Carly Stanton. The following day another group of Spartans will be playing at Sienna Golf club. The following girls will represent Stratford: Kenzie Bates, Ryann Calvert, Maddie Chadwick, Lilly Malik, and Brinklee Michels.

We’re really looking forward to seeing the girl’s accomplishments as the season goes on.
