Stratford vs Westside

On Friday our Stratford Lady Spartans hosted Westside for round one of playoffs. Forward Lauren Ahern, accompanied by Stratford volleyball player Skyler George, kicked off the game with a beautiful performance of the National Anthem.

The Spartan’s dominated the game from start to finish. Just 40 seconds into the game, Hope Coltrin put Stratford on the board. Minutes later, a pass by Hope to Rileigh Toner extended the lead 2-0. Additional goals were made by Ahern, Kristen Getzek (2), Toner, Elizabeth Prentzantzin, Ryann Weber and Mary Paul making the score 9-0 heading into the half. The second half mirrored the first, with additional goals scored by Getzek, Hannah Ryan, and Elise LaVern. Stratford moves on to the second round of playoffs on Tuesday evening with a final score 12-0.
