I want to first thank the Stratford Booster club for sponsoring our trip to the Concan tournament this past weekend.

The Boys Golf team had a rocky start to the tournament on day 1 but managed to finish strong and place 2nd overall.  We competed against top Houston and San Antonio high schools.  The Frio Valley Ranch golf course is a typical hill country course with elevation changes and narrow fairways throughout the course.  I am very proud of the players for dealing with the weather both days and scoring well.
