2/16/22 – SHS v. Cy Fair - 41-39 (W)

The Freshman A team headed into the last game of the season having already clenched district champions but now they had their sights on an undefeated season. The Spartans knew it was going to be a tough game, having lost the first time they played Cy Fair in an early season tournament and then winning a close game in the first game of district play, but not sure if they knew just how tough.

The Bobcats started off strong and definitely came out to spoil the Spartans season. The Bobcats were up double digits at half and by the early start of the 3rd quarter had an 18 point lead. However, the Spartans were not willing to give up on the undefeated season that easily. The rally was started in the 2nd half of the 3rd quarter and by the end of the third quarter, the lead was down to 11. The Spartans dominated the 4th quarter and pulled off a HUGE upset beating Cy Fair by 2 to close out district UNDEFEATED!!

This game was truly a TEAM effort with every single player contributing and was a culmination of all the hard work coming together in the final game of the season. Congratulations to the entire Freshman A team!
