Seniors Charlize Spiers and Robbie Howell completed their Stratford diving careers at the Regional meet on February 5 in The Woodlands. After each placed first at the District meet two weeks ago, they met stiff competition here. Charlize finished in 7th place with a score of 347.85. She received her best scores on an inward 1.5 somersault and a back 1.5 somersault with half twist. Robbie finished in 8th place with a score of 349.55. He performed particularly well on a reverse 1.5 somersault and a back 1.5 somersault with twist.

Robbie and Charlize have mirrored each other in their four years at Stratford. They both have been remarkably consistent while showing impressive improvement in that time. In addition, they both reached the Regional meet all four years. The Stratford Swim and Dive Team will miss their dependability, leadership, and constant cheerfulness. Thank you, Charlize and Robbie!
