The Spartans traveled to Spring Woods on Wednesday night February 2, 2022. The Spartans played well only to see the first half ending in a scoreless tie.  In the second half the Spartans had several excellent shots on goal but the game ended with neither team scoring, ending the game at a 0-0 tie. Both Stratford goalies played well in combining for a shut out of a good side at Spring Woods.

On Saturday February 5th, The Spartans traveled to Memorial high school to take on the Mustangs. The first period left both teams with multiple opportunities but a 0-0 halftime score. In the second half, the Mustangs scored halfway into the period to take a 1-0 lead. The Spartans answered with 8:30 remaining in the game on a goal by #6 Patrick Johnston to tie the game at 1-1. Stratford scored to go ahead 2-1 on a goal by #8 Max Werner with 4:30 remaining. However, Memorial scored a goal with 2 minutes left to tie the game at 2-2, which was the final score for the afternoon game.

The Spartans remain unbeaten in district play with a 2-0-2 record with Goals For (GF) 4 and Goals Against (GA) 3.

This week the Spartans host Cy-Creek on Tuesday at 7:30 pm and travel to play Jersey Village on Friday, also at 7:30 pm.
