The freshmen tennis team opened their spring season with a dominant showing at the Pasadena tournament on Tuesday. With a field of over 30 teams, we came home with the championships in 3 of 10 of the events: Girls A Doubles, Girls B Doubles, and Boys A Doubles!

Here were the complete freshmen results:
Champions:
Girls A Doubles- Ruth Egger and June Lim
Girls B Doubles- Lucy Roche and Georgia Ashley
Boys A Doubles- Noah Fortin and Luke Wright
Consolation Champions:
Mixed B Doubles- Hailey Schifano and Oscar Valle Montero
Semifinalists:
Mixed A Doubles- Georgia Grothues and James Cox
Girls B Singles- Ella Cruz
Boys B Singles- Reid Otermat

JV opened their season strong on Wednesday by hosting a tourney against Memorial, Tompkins, and Cy Woods. JV came home with 6 medals!  Here were the medalists:

Boys Doubles 3rd Place: Steele Rodriguez and Peyton White
Mixed Doubles 3rd Place: David Nederveld and Katherine Perkins
