SHS 9B vs George Ranch (12/14/21)

The Freshman B team beat George Ranch 36-28.  The Spartans had to compete against an aggressive and physical team. Early runs in the first and third quarters kept the Spartans ahead. Luke Pine made 3 three pointers and Kenneth Owen and Joseph Selesky combined for 13 rebounds. Cole Messer guided the offense and finished with 7 points.

SHS 9B vs Klein Collins (12/7/21)

The Freshman B team beat Klein Collins 49-23.  The Spartans led the entire game with strong defense and a balanced attack on offense that included a three point buzzer beater by Luke Pine at the end of the first quarter and buzzer beating dunk by Kenneth Owen at the end of the third quarter.

SHS 9B vs Strake Jesuit (12/10/21)

The Freshman B team beat Strake Jesuit 44-39.  The Spartans, led by Cole Messer’s aggressive playmaking and hot start, came out of the gate strong and jumped out to a huge 18-2 lead, but a tough Strake team battled back and eventually took the lead briefly in the fourth quarter before the Spartans rallied to finish the game with buckets by Cole Messer and Luke Pine in the last minute icing the game for the Spartans.

Freshman B Tuesday Nov 16

The Freshman B team fought hard Tuesday night to secure a 50-45 victory vs Bridgeland. The team defended aggressively throughout the game led by Ethan White.  The combination of  3’s by Luke Pine, Cole Messer and Dillon Shneider, and the two handed dunks by Kenneth Owen kept the Spartans ahead throughout.

Freshman B Tuesday 11/23 

Spartans freshman B team fell to CyPark 40-29. The boys battled the pressure throughout the game and narrowed the gap in the second half. The team was led by constant effort and energy from Ethan White on both ends, and second half points from Joseph Selesky. The boys end the pre-Thanksgiving schedule 2-1.
