Four divers competed in the meet against Memorial on October 14. Seniors Charlize Spiers and Robbie Howell both earned wins for the team; Sofia Scichilone and Megan Grijalva had solid performances at the JV level.

Charlize has started this season with three straight wins. She has shown great consistency while continuing to challenge herself with more difficult dives. Her first dive was a clean forward 1.5 pike that earned awards of 6's from the judges. Her best dive of the meet was a back 1.5 twist, rewarded with scores of 6 and 7.

Robbie again scored a new personal high for six dives. He had impressive height on his back pike, earning an award of 7.5 from one judge. He has made great improvement on the harder dives, earning scores of 5.5 on both a forward 2.5 tuck and forward 1.5 twist.

This meet was the first time Sofia performed 6 dives in competition, and the first time Megan competed at all for Stratford. They each finished off the meet with an impressive inward tuck dive. We all look forward to watching their continued improvement this season.
