Varsity Update

Last Thursday the Varsity Baseball team finished up their games against Spring Woods with a 17 - 3 win. Mark Perkins started on the mound getting the win pitching 2IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2BB, 4K. He also hit a 3B bringing in a RBI. The team's bats stayed hot from Tuesday night with Ford Lancaster going 2-2 with 3 RBIs, Cameron Donley going 2-3 with a 3B and 2 RBIs, Cade Alpard going 2-3 with a RBI and Luis Camargo bringing in 2 RBIs.

Tuesday started out Rivalry Week with a showdown at Memorial. It did not end the way we had hoped with us coming up just short 7 – 8. The boys showed some fight down to the last out. Mark Perkins started on the mound pitching 4.2IP and Paxton Terveen came in and closed it out with 1.1 IP. Perkins also went 2 – 3 with an RBI, Luke Rives went 2 – 3 with 2 RBIs, Tab Tracy went 2 – 4, Keegan Lynn had a 2B with 2 RBIs and Diego Denson had a 2B with an RBI.

The boys will finish out their series with Memorial at the Backyard tonight at 7:00 pm.

JV Update

Last Week the JV Baseball team played their double header at Spring Woods. Game 1 was a win 16 -1. Thomas Cloud started on the mound getting the Win pitching 3IP, 3H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3K. Pierce Cohen came in and closed out the game pitching 2IP, 1H, 1R, 0 BB, 2K. Maddox Garnero was on fire going 2-4 with a 2B, 3B and 4 RBIs. John White added 3RBIs while Brecken Menuet, Thomas Cloud, Cade Hanlen, Patrick Johnson, Braxton Wakefield and John White all combined for a team total 8 SB.

Game 2 was another win 16 - 0. Cohen and Tucker Copeland combined for a No Hitter! Cohen continued where he left off from game 1 in the start of game 2. He pitched 1 IP, 0H, 0R, 0 BB, 0 K. Copeland came in for the remainder of the game pitching 3IP, 0 H, 0 R, 5BB, 7K. Wakefield went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Luke Barre went 2-4 with a 3B, 2RBIs, Menuet had a 3B, 2 RBIs and 2 SB. Garnero had 2 SB while Alex Skoutelakis and Harris Timmreck added 2 and 3 RBIs.

Last night they played a Double Header at Memorial. Details of the game to come next week.

Sophomore Update:

Last Week the Sophomore Baseball team played their double header at home against Spring Woods. Game 1 was a win 12 - 0. Christian Ramirez and Matthew McDuffie combined for a No Hitter! Ramirez started on the mound with 3IP, 1H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5K. McDuffie closed the game out with 2IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4K. Will Messer led the offensive charge going 2-2 with 3 RBIs. Rian Healy added a 3B while Carson Craft added 2 RBIs and a SB. Adam Gilbert also had a SB.

Game 2 was another win 14 - 1. Kyle Miller got the win on the mound pitching 3IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1BB, 8K. Christian Merchan came in in relief pitching 1 IP, 2H, 1R, 0 BB, 1K. Walker Sage closed out the game pitching 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2BB, 3K. Gilbert had a 2B, Jack Scott and Luke Covington each had a 3B. Jake Broussard, Bo Harrison, Caleb Medlock, Tim Winter and Travis Jones all added a SB.

Last night they played a double header vs Memorial at the Backyard. Details of the game to come next week.
