On Saturday, January 30th, the Stratford JV swimmers competed in their District 14-6A meet at Klein High School. The whole team swam personal bests, and the girls brought home lots of hardware. Taking the top 3 spots on the podium were:

• The women’s 200 medley relay, finishing 3rd, and dropping an impressive 9.34 seconds with Lily Askounis (back), Katie Fikes (breast), Alexann Fowler (fly), and Abbilyn McEvoy (free).
   
• The women’s 200 yard free relay finishing 2nd with Fikes, McEvoy, Askounis, and Fowler.
   
• Alexann Fowler finishing 1st in the 100 fly and 2nd in the 50 free.
   
• Lily Askounis taking 1st place in the the 200 free and 3rd in the 100 free.
   
• Katie Fikes finishing 3rd in the 100 breast.
   
• Audrey Munson finishing 3rd in the 100 back.
   

Other top 10 finishers were:

• Katie Fikes finishing 5th in the 100 free.
   
• Austin Chao finishing 7th in the 100 fly and 9th in the 50 free.
   
• Lucas Storey finishing 10th in the 100 free.
