SHS vs Strake Jesuit – 12/12/20: SHS 61 – Strake Jesuit 49 The Spartans had an exciting win over Strake Jesuit 61-49. The Spartans came out strong against the men of Strake and played solid team basketball to secure the win. The first half proved to be a tight affair with several small lead changes throughout the half. In the second half, the Spartans came out strong and never looked back to secure the win over a good Strake team. Matthew McDuffie led the team in scoring with 16 points and Will Messer had 9 points.

SHS vs Memorial – 01/06/21: SHS 45 – Memorial 41 After a long break between games, the Spartans won an exciting game against rival Memorial in their first game back on Wednesday 45-41. Memorial took the lead in the second quarter and held it until the Spartans clawed their way back in the 3rd quarter, and then made an exciting push to go ahead in the 4th quarter. This rivalry game always proves to be exciting and this one was no different. The Spartan fans cheered their team on despite a closely called game that sent both teams to the line quite a bit. Missed free throws proved to be a big factor in this game. The Spartan win was a real team effort with all the Spartans contributing on offense and defense. Scoring Leaders were Kemari Stanfill with 11 points, Cole Overbergen with 6 points and Matthew McDuffie, Ethan Kling and Maxi Murvee each with 4 points.

SHS vs Cy Creek – 01/09/21: SHS 46 – Cy Creek 28 The Spartans had a commanding win over Cy Creek on Saturday winning 46-28. The Spartans took the lead early and never looked back. Solid team play and good defense allowed the Spartans to separate from the Cougars early in the 1st quarter, and the Cougars never really got it close after that. Cole Overbergen and Bryce Gage lead the team with 10 points each. Matthew McDuffie had 9 points for the day and Ethan Kling added 6 points to the effort.
