On Thursday, January 8th, the Stratford swimmers attended a tri-meet in Katy at Jordan High School against Jordan High and George Ranch High School. Top finishers in each event were:

200 yard medley relay

For the women, the A team finished 1st with Emma Venghaus (back), Kara Moss (breast), Allison Ortiz (fly), and Lindsay Wong (free). Finishing in 5th place for Stratford was the B team with Leah Easton (back), Gwendolyn Beach (breast), Ashley Cardin (fly), and Ashley Cooper (free).

For the men, the A team finished 2nd with Max Zuanich (back), Lowell Moss (breast), Callum Glover (fly), and Jack Brennan (free). Finishing in 4th was the B team with Lucas Groves (back), Jonathan Horton (breast), Eric Jackson (fly), and Tyler Barber (free).

200 free relay

The women’s A team finished 2nd with Lindsay Wong, Allison Ortiz, Emma Jackson, and Kara Moss. The B team finished 3rd with Grace Stern, Ariana Zhuri, Artemisa de Jager, and Gwendolyn Beach.

The men’s A team finished 3rd with Tyler Barber, Gavin Beach, Charlie Williams, and Lowell Moss. The C team finished 5th with Austin Chao, Lucas Storey, Joshua Rebollar, and Wyatt McCulley.

400 free relay

The women’s A team placed 2nd with Ariana Zhuri, Leah Easton, Allison Ortiz, and Emma Jackson. The B team finished 4th with Artemisa de Jager, Grace Stern, Ashely Cardin, and Ashley Cooper.

The men’s A team took 3rd with Jack Brennan, Callum Glover, Gavin Beach, and Max Zuanich.
